Last week at the TALA (Texas Assisted Living Association) in Round Rock, Texas our very own Jennifer Knouf was honored as a real Texas HERO. Jennifer was selected out of thousands of assisted living professionals in the state of Texas for outstanding dedication to serving seniors.
Jennifer has dedicated 20 years to Mustang Creek Estates, growing from a caregiver to a key leader overseeing medication administration, compliance, training, and quality across all communities. Known for her compassion, attention to detail, and servant leadership, she has improved the lives of thousands of residents by ensuring safe, affordable, and uninterrupted access to medications. She has played a critical role in regulatory compliance, state surveys, and
the transition to modern eMAR systems, while also helping launch new locations.
Beyond her technical expertise, Jennifer is deeply committed to her team and residents, offering constant support, advocacy, and recognition for others. Often working behind the scenes — even on her personal time — she exemplifies dedication, integrity, and teamwork, making her a highly deserving and impactful leader within the organization.
