At Mustang Creek Estates, we believe life should be celebrated at every age — and this July’s Senior Skip Day was one for the books!
On July 23, our Flower Mound neighborhood transformed into a vibrant Summer Music Festival, bringing together residents, families, and team members for a day filled with music, laughter, great food, and unforgettable memories. Inspired by the spirit of a modern-day Woodstock, the festival embraced everything we love about summer: live entertainment, good friends, and making the most of every moment.
A Festival Designed with Our Residents in Mind
While the music and fun took center stage, resident comfort and safety were just as important. With the Texas summer heat in full swing, we created plenty of shaded gathering areas complete with:
Hydration stations
Cooling mist fans
Refreshing cool towels
Comfortable seating throughout the event
These thoughtful touches allowed everyone to enjoy the festivities while staying cool and comfortable.
Live Music, Great Food & Plenty of Smiles
The festival featured talented live performers who kept the music playing throughout the day, creating an atmosphere that had residents singing along, tapping their feet, and reminiscing about some of their favorite songs.
From the first song to the last bite of dessert, the day was filled with smiles, conversation, and genuine joy.

The Summer Music Festival was a wonderful reminder that age doesn't diminish the desire to have fun, connect with others, or dance to great music.
